A series of masterclasses on video mastery was held at the Regional Professional Center for Basic Media Education, which operates at the Department of Journalism and Philology of SSU, with the support of the U.S. Embassy’s Media Development Fund in Ukraine. During the training, Igor Strembitsky spoke about the basics and features of video montage, the formation of a frame, visualization tools, familiarized the participants of the training with the ethical and legal aspects of video recording, gave advice on how to develop imagination and a special “vision”. The result of the training was a series of footage shot by the participants for their own reportages, which were presented to the general public during the online meeting. The video director commented on the works’ advantages and disadvantages, gave valuable pieces of advice.
